Rating formula

The rating formula

Until you have played 100 rated hands you remain in the Bronze ranking category with a fixed rating of 1000.

After your 100th rated hand you progress into the Silver ranking category.

After your 1000th rated hand you progress into the Gold ranking category and your ranking becomes officially sanctioned.

The formula for calculating your skill poker rating = [the accumulated total baseline-adjusted +/- chips from all of your rated hands against Albi, divided by the no. of rated hands played] + 1000 (rounded to the nearest positive integer).

If you are in the Silver ranking category you gain a “provisional national ranking” which is a projection of how your current skill rating ranks against all officially ranked players in the Gold category.
